Cécile Russeil has had an incredibly long and successful time with Ubisoft, having spent over 27 years with the company which has taken up the entirety of her career. Now head of the global videogame giant’s approximately 30-person legal team, Russeil takes on the ultimate legal responsibility for a global workforce of over 12,000 employees across six continents.
She has built the team around her expertly, giving it a centralised structure that is involved in every stage of the company’s projects and a correspondingly large impact on its successes. She has been integral to the Ubisoft legal function’s innovative approach to finding solutions to the wide range of regulatory requirements that its products are subjected to around the world. As well as this, she oversees the company’s industrial property portfolio and the disputes related to this and other matters.
