Éric Boré is an established corporate counsel who currently leads the legal team at GEODIS, a supply chain operator ranking among the top companies in its field in Europe. Having joined the business in September 2012, Boré has overseen the introduction of an action plan to facilitate better communication among lawyers, thus breaking previously existing ‘boundaries’ and making individual lawyers feel as part of a single unit, as opposed to separate teams.

This plan consisted of, among other things, the introduction of weekly meetings between lawyers, the setup of an intranet with a documentation database, the roll-out of seminars with presentations and the introduction of working groups on specific legal issues in order to work on common deliverables. Boré also impresses in the field of M&As, having recently advised on the acquisition of OHL, as well as the subsequent integration of its freight forwarding activities.

‘I worked in a multi-cultural environment with lawyers established in several countries with a common goal to secure this integration, while being part of a project team made of experts in various fields’, he adds. Boré’s former career features positions at cosmetics company Yves Rocher between 2005 and 2012 and home improvements retailer Mr Bricolage from 1999 until 2004.
