Can you tell us a little about your significant accomplishments over the last few years, as a team or by yourself?

Some of the most recent significant accomplishments from our legal department at Adecco include the support for the group’s development with structuring mergers and acquisitions, including the acquisition of QAPA. Additionally, we have worked in integration of operations following the acquisition of AKKA at global level. Lastly, we have continuously monitored social legislation during the pandemic period, working in the legal procedures, adjusting and adapting to any changes.

Have any recent political, economic or regulatory changes impacted your work? How are you dealing with this?

During the difficult period caused by the pandemic, more than 150 pieces of legislation, including laws, ordinances and decrees have directly affected the normal running of our business.

As our core business is in the area of human resources, periods of parliamentary and governmental changes are propitious for new legislation, particularly on issues such as unemployment, retirement and subsidies, among others.

How has the increasing consciousness of climate change and sustainability affected your company and the team’s priorities?

Has issues such as climate change and sustainability are crucial to our business, we are implementing internal policies towards the goal of protecting our environment and becoming increasingly sustainable, while also developing expertise and training courses on these important issues, for our clients.
