Michael Junge joined SAP AG in 1993 as head of the legal department. In his current role Junge is responsible for the global legal function, which covers all legal matters within the SAP group, with the exception of IP matters. Junge also leads SAP’s global compliance office and is responsible for all of the company’s global insurance matters, as well as acting as the corporate governance officer and secretary to the supervisory board. Junge reports directly to the chief financial officer and member of the executive board of SAP AG, and is a member of the legal committee of EuropeanIssuers, a pan-European organisation strategically positioned to represent the interests of publically quoted companies from all sectors to the EU institutions.
