Career biography
Andrea Czarnecki serves as Group General Counsel of Continental, a DAX 40 listed company. She assumed this role in 2021 and as the Head of Law and Intellectual Property, she leads a diverse global team of legal, export control, and patent professionals located in countries on all continents. Prior to this, Andrea held various positions within the law department and worked in Continental’s Tire sales organization as an International Key Account Manager. Andrea has led numerous corporate and commercial projects, M&A transactions, international arbitrations, litigation, and compliance investigations. This diverse business experience has proven invaluable in her role as Continental’s strategic legal advisor navigating the company through complex regulatory and corporate governance topics. She is dedicated to developing talent and in particular, establishing and empowering highly effective and efficient teams. Andrea is passionate about rethinking how Continental’s law department adds sustainable value to the company, while encouraging her team members to achieve their full potential.
