By anticipating legal risks, ensuring compliance with evolving laws and collaborating with stakeholders, we support operational continuity and long-term stability.

What are the main cases or transactions that you have been involved in recently?

The Mainova Legal department had a pivotal role in key transactions and strategic developments in 2024, navigating complex challenges with precision. Our biggest transaction in 2024 was the sale of 50,1 % of shares of our subsidiary Mainova WebHouse GmbH to a fund managed by Blackrock’s Diversified Infrastructure Team. This transaction was successfully structured and secures a competitive position in the growing data center market.

What role does the legal department play in promoting and ensuring corporate social responsibility in your organisation?

The Mainova legal department plays a key role in promoting corporate social responsibility by ensuring compliance with ESG regulations, integrating sustainability into contracts and policies and mitigating legal risks tied to social and environmental impact. We provide guidance on ethical business practices, stakeholder engagement and regulatory developments.
