What are the main cases or transactions that you have been involved in recently?
Acquisition of shares in GASCADE, one of Germany’s major gas network operators. Execution of Germany’s largest gas supply contract with the Norwegian gas producer Equinor. Finalisation of major long-term LNG supply agreements with Oman, Adnoc, and other suppliers.
How do you measure the impact of ESG initiatives on the company’s overall performance and reputation?
ESG will play a pivotal role in SEFE’s business strategy. It is no longer mainly a relevant aspect for financing but rather a core driver for the business. SEFE is fully committed to be a central facilitator of the energy transition. We in Legal also reflect ESG-criteria when selecting law firms.
How have you integrated technology into your legal processes, and what impact has this had on efficiency and compliance?
We introduced our own contract configurator in the sales business in 2014 and are currently starting a complete review of digitalisation potential within Legal & Compliance but also the broader Contract Lifecycle Management/commercial business.
