Biography

Elena Samaras is the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of TAKKT AG.

She acts as trusted advisor to the Executive Leadership Team and the Supervisory Board. Together with her team, she pushes forward important governance, compliance and commercial matters. Elena is taking an innovative and customer-centric approach to legal counselling. One of the KPIs she regularly measures is the “Legal Services NPS”. After each survey, she and her team actively translate client feedback into future advisory and action.

Before joining TAKKT Group, Elena worked with BSH Home Appliances where, amongst other things, she had regional legal & compliance responsibility for Western Europe & Latin America. She started her legal career with Hengeler Mueller, where she gained experience in corporate law, M&A, and dispute resolution.

Elena is known for her strategic thinking and ability to manage complex legal issues. In addition to her legal achievements, Elena is also acting as Mentor and Executive Coach to both legal & business clients. She believes in elevating the human potential of her counterparts by posing witty, challenging and provoking questions to them.

Elena is a graduate of Hochschule St. Gallen (Executive MBA), University of Miami (LL.M.) and Humboldt University (1st state examination) and she has trained ICF-oriented coaching with Bossert Academy in Munich.
