Managing legal aspects during these times involves, on one hand, conducting a thorough risk assessment to establish a solid baseline against which risks can be monitored and managed. This means considering the ‘worst case,’ the ‘best case,’ and everything in between, in order to design creative, proactive solutions wherever possible. On the other hand, it is crucial to strengthen and support the teams with a fresh mindset, reassuring them that challenges will be addressed and resolved.
What do you see as the major legal challenges for businesses in Germany over the next five years, and how are you preparing to address them?
In the next five years, businesses in Germany will face stricter regulations and the pressures of a potential recession. To address these, we must focus on pragmatic, value-driven solutions, ensuring compliance with evolving laws while managing resources effectively during economic uncertainty. My approach is to strengthen risk management, promote cross-functional collaboration, and leverage technology for agility and efficiency.
