Bio

Peter Baehr studied law in Bonn, Sydney and Shanghai. He started his career at a Big 4 in Frankfurt am Main and worked for several years in Germany and China / Asia as Head of Asian Desk and Head of the M&A/Tax Practice Groups for a German MDP law firm. He has been with PUMA SE since 2011, where he has been General Counsel for Europe/EMEA since 2013. With his strong track record in M&A, outbound investments and restructurings he advised on all major transformations and corporate restructurings of the PUMA group since joining PUMA in 2011.

Peter Baehr has a deep understanding of the sporting goods industry and is e.g. active in the Legal Committee of WFSGI (World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry), at FESI (Federation of the European Sporting Goods Industry) and is also one of the presidents of the BSI (Bundesverband der Deutschen Sportartikel Industrie e.V. / Federal Association of the German Sporting Goods Industry). Peter Baehr is convinced, that especially in a fast-changing environment under the current global transformations’ positive relationships of mutual trust and respect across diverse cultures and business environments need to be established and strengthened.
