Akua S.A. Amenyedor began her career at Kimathi & Partners, Corporate Attorneys in 2016 and progressed to Managing Counsel, leading the firm’s Transactions and Strategic Advisory, and Tax teams, specializing in Corporate, M&A, Finance, Tax, Energy and Infrastructure.

Akua has advised on complex issues across different industries. With a diverse practice, she has represented sponsors, lenders, borrowers, and multinational corporations, and has significant experience in advising on all issues relating to doing business in Ghana and tax structuring.

Currently, she serves as the General Counsel and Head of Corporate Services at OceanLift Subsea Ghana, where she manages the legal, compliance, human resources, supply chain, and ESG functions of the Company, to mitigate risks effectively.

She is a Barrister & Solicitor in Ghana and holds an LLM from the University of Cambridge.
