Amoanimaa Agyenim-Boateng is a business lawyer with extensive corporate, commercial and regulatory experience. She believes in the lawyer’s unique role as a trusted advisor who understands the client’s business, the industry and the regulatory environment in which the client competes and thrives.

Prior to joining the Petra Group, Amoanimaa Agyenim-Boateng worked with Kimathi and Partners and AB and David Africa, two leading business law firms in Ghana.

Petra is a diversified financial services company that provides a broad spectrum of workplace and personal financial solutions. Principal lines of business include pension administration, investment management, and portfolio and brokerage advisory services.

At the Petra Group, Amoanimaa Agyenim-Boateng leads the legal and compliance team in providing risk minimisation, regulatory compliance with multiple regulators, advises on strategic developments across several areas of technology and transactional projects. Additional responsibilities include company secretarial, governance and ESG functions.

Amoanimaa Agyenim-Boateng is a member of the Ghana Bar Association, and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments, CISI – UK (2024 award winner on Fundamentals of Financial Services). She also holds a leadership certificate from the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS).

Amoanimaa Agyenim-Boateng is the founder of the Friendship Library LBG, a nonprofit organisation which enables a future where all young people, regardless of their background thrive through reading and learning. She was valedictorian of her law school graduating class at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana.
