Looking forward, what technological advancements do you feel will impact the role of in-house legal teams in the future the most? 

Technological advancements that improve risk management process, increase efficiency through lower cost and time saving, and control and reduce human error. The potential benefits can be extensive, provided they reflect the strategy that the legal function has developed to support the organization, and that the selection of technology tools is rigorous and effective. 

How do you suggest in-house lawyers build strong relationships with business partners? 

They can do this by having greater knowledge of the business and the industry they are working on, working with other business partners to achieve a common purpose and balancing the need to find solutions with the need to provide ethical advice. Additionally, it is helpful if they are not afraid to tell people what they do not want to hear.   

What are the most significant cases or projects you have been involved in recently?
