OTE Group is the largest telecommunications provider in the Greek market that operates through COSMOTE, its unified brand for all Group products and wholly owned subsidiary.

As chief legal and regulatory affairs officer, Eirini Nikolaidi is in charge of all legal and regulatory affairs of COSMOTE and the companies of the OTE Group which are spread across Greece, Romania and Albania. Now occupying a prominent and esteemed position in Greece’s in-house legal community and the telecommunication services sector, she joined the Group in 1996 as a special adviser to OTE’s management responsible for all legal and regulatory issues related to the set-up of COSMOTE. In 1997 she was appointed general counsel – general director of competition, legal and regulatory affairs before assuming her current role in 2011.

Having worked in the Group in senior legal positions for over two decades, Nikolaidi is rightly considered a legal telecommunications expert by peers. She obtained her law degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 1991 and has a LLM in international business law from University College London.
