Founded in 1980, the Olympia Group has since developed into one of the leading Greek corporate businesses through the activities of his various subsidiaries. General counsel Georgios Xirouchakis has been directing legal services of the Group since 2008 working on its most important projects over the past decade, and having worked in Greece’s in-house market since 2001, he is one of the most respected individuals in the industry.

Before taking his current position at the Olympia Group he was general counsel at Olympia’s subsidiary Public between 2006 and 2008 after a successful five year spell in the legal team of Germanos, an owner and operator of retail stores for telecommunication goods and services in Europe. Prior to moving in-house, Xirouchakis served law firms Nikolaos Savopoulos & Partners Law Firm and I.K. Rokas & Partners Law Firm in Athens. He holds an MBA from the University of Leicester in 2001 and obtained Bachelor degrees in law from the University of Athens in 1998 and in economics from the University of Crete in 1994.
