About

Since Nayia Pyridi started practicing as a lawyer in 2003, her career path has involved a mix of assignments taken in private practice, academia and in legal advisory services through positions held with the central Greek government and the Hellenic Parliament. Pyridi reveals that working in diverse environments, alongside the complexity of challenges faced and unique experiences acquired in the specific fields of law, enriched her knowledge and shaped her functional and organisational capabilities.

‘Throughout my career so far, I worked hard – with eagerness and zeal – to align my individual purpose and goal with each institution’s mission and to serve each company’s objectives trying to deliver the desirable results with a great sense of commitment, professionalism, conscientiousness and responsiveness’, says Pyridi. Acquiring her current position with Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund in 2012, she is responsible for the legal coordination and legal overview of all projects and tenders on all major real assets as well as providing daily legal expertise and support to the chairman and the board of directors as well as project managers of the respective project teams on all legal aspects and issues involving the tender procedure, the pre-signing process and the execution of contracts.

Pyridi has been part of the launch of a ‘very ambitious’ project for based around the Greek public sector’s private properties, aiming to generate proceeds of €25bn. The scope encompasses more than 70,000 properties of the public sector that are currently managed by public real estate companies and various ministries.
