Region counsel Greece, Turkey, South Africa and Africa | Hewlett Packard Enterprise - Greece
Yota Kremmida first joined Hewlett Packard as a country counsel for Greece and Cyprus and was then promoted to the position of regional counsel with the additional responsibility of the Turkish region. Upon the separation of the printing and personal systems by HP in a restructuring effort undertaken by the company, she added South Africa as well as the wider Africa region to her portfolio.
Having spent years advising both public and private sector clients as an in-house counsel, Kremmida’s first career highlights were with a renowned legal firm in Athens specialising in international commercial arbitration, where she had the chance to work with multinational legal teams. She then moved to the legal department of the organising committee for the Olympic Games Athens 2004: ‘At the time, it was the most exciting project in my country and highly scrutinised by the press. I was responsible for advising the commercial teams, for negotiating contracts and for the corporate affairs’ says Kremmida.
In her current role she supports the complex HP Enterprise business in a variety of jurisdictions, enabling internal clients to bring in revenue and ensuring full compliance with the legal and regulatory framework. In the last two years she has been instrumental to the separation and reorganisation of the company, also making the maximum use of technology to reach out to the business in remote jurisdictions to provide trainings and team meetings.
