Could you share an example of a time when you came up with an innovation that improved how your legal team works and did not come at a large expense?  

An example of an innovation was the recent creation of rules of engagement of the legal team for the business, so that business colleagues know how and when to engage with the legal team. This, in combination with the creation of standard contract templates, significantly improved the work of the legal team which has more time to dedicate in business-critical issues. 

What are the most significant cases or transactions that your legal team has recently been involved in?  

We have led several successful negotiations with the Negotiation Committee of the Greek Ministry of Health which led to the reimbursement of innovative therapies benefiting the Greek patients. 

How important is choosing to work with external lawyers who align with your company’s values? Are you likely to reconsider what firms you work with based on this?  

Aligned values is a very critical when choosing external lawyers and sometimes more critical than the actual legal capabilities.
