Thaleia Emiri has a demonstrated track record of significant achievements in both private and public sectors. She has worked for approximately 15 years in law firms and private companies focusing mainly on company law and competition law before serving as director of special policies at the PM Office and senior legal advisor to the Minister of Finance (2011-2013). She has then joined the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund (HFSF), entity responsible for managing the €50b fiscal envelope allotted to the Greek banking sector recapitalization under the programme related to the Greek financial crisis. She is an ex-board of directors’ member at the HR Asset Development Fund.
Thaleia has extended experience in managing multidisciplinary complex projects, negotiating with multiple stakeholders, and handling crisis situations. She holds a law degree from the University of Athens, an LLM in Economic Law and a PhD in European Law from Panthéon-Assas University (Paris II). She has also completed international courses on compliance (ICA) and corporations’ sustainability (Said Business School).
