Hermes Airports is the operator of the two major airports in Cyprus, Larnaka International Airport and Pafos International Airport since May 2006, under a 25 year build-operate-transfer concession. Its in-house legal team is exceptionally talented and involved in the company’s major improvements and development in the last year. The company is embarking on renovations of the shops and restaurants in both of its airports in partnership with CTC-ARI and Cyprus Airports F&B Ltd and have been awarded the “Best International Airport Management Company 2019 in the Mediterranean” at the 2019 Air Transport Awards by the British International Transport News magazine. The team has also provided guidance on the launch of a new route between Vienna and Cyprus with LEVEL, a new low cost airline, as well as the opening of “satellite casinos” in the airports in partnership with Integrated Casino Resorts Cyprus (ICR Cyprus).
