Based across Athens and Brussels, the Intrasoft International legal team is six-strong and will be expanding further shortly to keep up with favourable business conditions. Tzina Prokopidou is group legal head and is ultimately responsible for management of legal matters for the company, including its branches and subsidiaries. Prokopidou was extremely complimentary about her colleagues in the Athens office – Irini Papadopoulou, Konstantina Apostolopoulou, Peggy Kontou and Ioanna Mavroidi – who she praised as having performed extremely creditably on the recent projects the team has worked on. These have included the launching of GDPR and the following up of the company’s GDPR compliance in cooperation with the data protection officer and IT department, and two major due diligences along with the preparation of the needed documents for the relevant company investment operations in cooperation with externals. When discussing the team’s guiding principles, Prokopidou summed these up as, above all, ‘to respond quickly with liable legal advice to the company while maintaining a positive working environment’ – highlighting a personnel-focused approach to the team’s work.
