VICTUS Networks
Led by head of legal Konstantina Schiza, who is capably supported by senior lawyer Stella Analyti, VICTUS Networks’ legal team oversees company litigation, compliance, risk management and corporate governance matters within the fast-paced technology sector. The company is a joint venture between Vodafone Greece and Wind Hellas, and Schiza is a member of the company’s management team and secretary to the board of directors, putting her in an extremely effective position to synergise legal and business objectives. ‘I am regularly conducting internal audits and trainings relevant to company’s compliance in the field of competition law, anti- bribery, information security and data privacy regulations and participating to the development and implementation of company’ s policies, processes and procedures to enhance workflow and ensure legal compliance’, she says. This is the culmination of a long-term process which began with Schiza taking over the team. ‘Gaining trust when expanding the legal function and developing relationships that would lead to the business recognising the department was definitely a challenge but always a priority’, she says. ‘To the end of gaining the support of the wider company and deliver prime value by aligning legal’ s focus to the company’s vision and goals, I set short term goals of the legal team that feed into longer term goals of the business itself’. Throughout this, the team has been working tirelessly to establish and grow the business in the country. ‘As VICTUS Networks is a relatively new and innovative company, the nature of its activities is fully linked with the delivery of major and timely dependent projects. Agreements such as software licensing agreements, IT contracts, security as a service and other outsourcing agreements consist of the majority of company’s transactions with third parties’, Schiza says.
