Elizabeth joined Tencent Legal in 2013 and currently heads the Corporate and International Regulatory Legal Center. Elizabeth is responsible for a diverse range of workstreams outside of China, each comprised of legal specialists based in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Singapore, Amsterdam, Palo Alto, and Washington, D.C. On the corporate management side, Elizabeth leads a team of experienced lawyers advising on HK listing rules compliance, corporate governance, debt/fund management, and employment matters. Regarding regulatory compliance, Elizabeth also manages a dedicated team of regulatory lawyers well-versed in engaging with regulators on a wide range of subjects, including fintech/finreg, licensure requirements, investigations, sanctions, CFIUS, and the FCPA.

Since 2021, Elizabeth has also led the Global Research team and the International Regulatory Policy team for Tencent’s Global Public Affairs department.
