The award winning Hong Kong legal department of Goldman Sachs has several sub teams dealing with different areas of legal matters. The business intelligence group is one team in the legal department, focusing on managing legal, regulatory and reputational risks. Team members in this group work primarily with the investment banking division, the merchant banking division and the securities division to review transactions and provide legal advice on a variety of issues. Recognised as one of the top in-house legal teams in Hong Kong, the entire legal department plays an essential role in the formulation and implementation of the strategy of Goldman Sachs in the region.
