Hong Kong Disneyland is the largest theme park in Hong Kong and the fifth Disney Resort in the world. To date, Hong Kong Disneyland has welcomed millions of guests, both local and international, making it one of the top destinations in the region. Serving as an assistant chief counsel – head of legal, Rita Tang is responsible for providing strategic legal advice and direction to the management team, implementing corporate legal and compliance policies and developing necessary local policies. She joined Hong Kong Disneyland in August 2009 as a senior attorney and has taken on subsequent positions with increasing responsibility. Led by Tang, the legal team provides strong legal support on corporate, commercial, employment, intellectual property and general litigation-related matters and contributed to Hong Kong Disneyland’s record high revenue of HK$6bn for the fiscal year 2018, an 18% increase from the previous year.
