Headquartered in Hong Kong, Li & Fung is the world’s leading supply chain solutions partner for brands and retailers. Operating one of the most extensive global supply chain networks in the world, Li & Fung employs around 17,000 people in more than 230 locations across over 40 different markets. Led by Marcus Tsang as general counsel, the legal department is responsible for dealing with a diverse range of legal and compliance matters. Recently the team has contributed substantially to the business’s major transactions and deals, including the redemption of US$500m subordinated perpetual capital securities, optimising its capital structure. The redemption will further support Li & Fung’s “Three Year Plan” for 2017 to 2019 focusing on speed, innovation and the digitisation of the supply chain.
