Based in Hong Kong, the in-house legal team of Vistra is led by general counsel John McLean, who joined in 2017, bringing over 19 years’ experience of working on a broad range of M&A and corporate finance transactions in Asia. Acting as a trusted legal and risk advisor, the legal team is highly involved in the firm’s transactions and deals, including the recent acquisition of Radius, a specialist US-based provider of international expansion services. The transaction doubled Vistra’s international expansion business, making Vistra a global market leader in the field.
