Altice Portugal is Portugal’s largest telecommunications service provider. The company had operated as Portugal Telecom or PT until Dutch-based Altice Group purchased it in 2015. André Steiger Garção had been at PT since 2006 and having been considered a senior and vital member of the legal department there took up the role of legal and regulation manager, head of business legal team (clients and procurement) for Altice Portugal following the acquisition of PT. He is commended for helping implement the deal, his coordination of the legal team as well as his legal support to all the Group’s companies in Portugal in all matters relating to its customer and procurement operations.
