Supported by the legal team’s involvement in every aspect of its commercial operations, the company has delivered strong growth surpassing that in the industry, recording a 7.3% increase in revenues and a 37.7% increase in pre-tax profits over the previous year. This strong performance has been largely due to Gestamp’s ongoing commitment to innovation and technology, as well as its strategy to expand into high growth regions. In addition to facilitating recent investments made by the company in the US, UK and Romania, the legal team is also working on Gestamp’s estimated €7.3bn initial public offering (IPO). With an imminent listing of 25% of company shares on the Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao and Valencia Stock Exchanges, the transaction is set to become the largest IPO by both market capitalisation and amount raised in Europe in the first half of 2017.
