What are the most significant cases and transactions that your legal team has recently been involved in?
Enfusion Legal is hyperfocused on supporting Enfusion’s strategy and growth as it approaches its third anniversary as a publicly traded company. This spans commercial work, employment and compliance efforts, and corporate and securities matters. We pride ourselves on being business-forward partners and demonstrating range and upstream thinking in guiding the company into the future. Over the course of 2024, our team has focused its efforts on proactive management of risk and the prevention of problems as contrasted with reactive problem solving which can act as a drain on resources and inhibit our focus on maturity and evolution of our legal operations and the business generally.
Which recent political, economic or regulatory changes have impacted your work the most in the past year?
Since the start of 2024, our focus has been on the evolution of a handful of surgical topics that are intended to evolve and mature our approach to legal risk including, but not limited to, an emphasis on our commercial terms and conditions, data security and data privacy, public company reporting, and management of risk as associated to the changing tide of law on employment topics like non-competition provisions and protections.
How does your legal team collaborate with other departments within the company?
We view our role as one of empowering our business to move quickly and execute a strategy. Sometimes we have to slow things down to a degree to make sure we can take a turn safely, but then we are right there to help the business put our collective foot back on the gas to get us to the necessary place as quickly (and safely) as possible.
