Spotlight on…

Lubinisha Saha is a lawyer and a compliance professional. Currently (as of June 2023) she is the head of legal and compliance for Airbus, South Asia and international consisting of Asia Pacific, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa (around 70 countries). Her team consists of 35 members across multiple countries. Prior to this, she was heading legal and compliance for South Asia. She continues to be based in New Delhi, India in her current role. She joined Airbus in February 2019.  

Quick to adapt to new legal eco-systems, regions and cultures, her expertise lies in handling a variety of commercial issues with a focus on infrastructure, commercial contracting, structuring, disputes, financing, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, and public policy. With a proven record of accomplishment and an astute understanding of an ever-changing world, she is a reliable business partner who owns issues and collaborates effectively with stakeholders to provide risk-abated yet business enabling solutions. She has been adjudged as one of the top general counsel in India while navigating through the most fascinating decades in India’s growth trajectory for her extensive work on the intersection of policy and corporate space.  

Her passion for people and causes has led her to lead corporate social responsibility projects for Airbus that recently led to the creation of a skill development hub for aviation in India. She has also tirelessly worked for the rejuvenation of dead water bodies in India’s national capital New Delhi and Bangalore. She also supports the legal, CSR and women initiatives at the Indo French Chamber of Commerce and Industry.  

A leading voice for diversity and inclusion initiatives, she is an avid painter and writer, with her prose and poetry been regularly published by India’s leading newspapers and magazines She is a single mother of two boys Adhrit and Avahn.
