Could you share an example of a time when you came up with an innovation that improved how your legal team works and did not come at a large expense? 

We continue to innovate to minimise costs. Pre-litigation work is generally outsourced but we believe the discovery of facts can be best managed internally and we continue to get better at this which has resulted not only in significant cost savings but also in speed and efficiency. Moreover, this has helped us build significant capabilities in-house. 

What are the most significant cases or transactions that your legal team has recently been involved in? 

As a team, we manage a variety of work ranging from commercial contracts, intellectual property, litigation, compliances, regulatory and policy, joint venture, corporate governance, and company secretarial.  

If you had to give advice to an aspiring in-house lawyer or general counsel, what would it be and why?  

Humility and authenticity in every action can help build a great team so it should be preserved and cherished.
