Experiencing a recent corporate shake-up, the Indian operations of global car manufacturing giants Renault and Nissan – which were consolidated in a joint venture created in 2005 – is significantly investing in manufacturing and R&D facilties, involving more than Rs 6,100 crores in India so far towards a plant, product and research and development center. Nissan, along with low-cost brand Datsun, targeted a 10 percent market share in India in financial law 2016. Recently appointed to lead the legal team for Renault and Nissan entities in India is GC Powerlist: India inclusion for 2016 Yogesh Wadhwa, who moved from General Motors India to bolster legal support to the company in a legal and a managerial sense.
