‘Elaine Nerney is international counsel with Slack. Slack works with partners and developers globally to build apps and integrations that streamline work and automate mundane task. Prior to joining Slack in 2017, Nerney had spent more than 13 years as an in-house counsel with some of the biggest technology companies in the world, such as Dell, Hewlett-Packard and Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Ireland, the UK and Denmark. She has demonstrated performance as a trusted advisor to country management, business unit and functional support teams. Nerney is proficient in general legal matters with particular expertise in commercial contracting, data protection, litigation and intellectual property. She also spent three years working in advertising and marketing dealing with corporate client accounts’.
