Highly spoken of and noted for his quality, Nigel Crawford is a vice president and corporate secretary at the multinational power management company Eaton Corporation. Eaton entered the Irish market in 2012 following a US$11bn acquisition of Cooper Industries. Immediately following this transaction, the company changed its domicile from the US to Ireland and created a regional legal and company-wide governance office. The team is responsible for a whole range of governance, compliance and legal issues encountered by the corporations over 400 subsidiary companies. Crawford is a highly experienced in-house lawyer with over five years at Eaton and with a background in financial secondments during his 10 years in private practise with Matheson.
