‘Nigel Kemp is one of the most senior in-house lawyers in the Irish banking market. Since his appointment as general counsel of Citibank Europe, he has overseen the development of the in-house legal capability of this entity, including the relocation of roles from the UK to Dublin, and has significantly expanded its size and scope of operations. He has been instrumental in managing the complex legal aspects of the continuous expansion of CEP’s business, including the relocation of business as a result of Brexit, as the bank has grown to become a significant institution for ECB and SSM supervision purposes and one of the largest banks in Ireland.
