Representing over 70 domestic and multinational member institutions the Banking and Payments Federation Ireland (BPFI) is the representative body for the banking, financial and payment industries in the country. The company delivers a range of advisory and consulting services through its specialist teams and offers an extensive associate network. BPFI’s internal legal and regulatory support function, which has been growing in importance within the company, is led by former Danske Bank solicitor Bernice Evoy. A commended legal professional known for her eye for innovation, Evoy joined BPFI in September 2014 and has since provided best-in-class legal advice to the organisation and consultancy to its members on legal and regulatory issues affecting the industry. Evoy also currently assists where required in formulating appropriate responses when dealing with the industry’s stakeholders and holds responsibility for the IMC’s Legal and Conveyancing Committee.
