Legal director Rory Sullivan and legal counsel Muireann Mangan continue to provide commercially-focused advice to a broad range of Pfizer clients in Ireland across R&D, manufacturing, sales and finance in a rapidly changing environment of internal restructurings and regulatory changes. As a small team the focus is on strategic issues for the management teams across the various operations and being part of cross-functional teams leading large-scale projects to successful conclusion. With the efficient use of resource continuing to be a priority for the small-sized department, the legal team has recently instigated a number of key initiatives to improve clarity of complex matrix-supporting relationships, facilitate cross-jurisdictional cooperation across the legal division and improve the nature of self-help tools and training for clients.
