Aya Ben David Ashbel is the executive vice president and the global general counsel of Fox Group — a publicly traded company and a leading retail group with extensive businesses mainly in Israel and multiple countries across Europe and Canada.

She has over 20 years of remarkable and diversified experience with expertise in capital markets, corporate and M&A, serving as vice president and internal legal counsel to public companies, as well as working in the capital markets department at Herzog, Fox & Neeman Law firm and serving as executive vice president and the general counsel of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange before joining Fox Group. Aya has an LLB and a BA in economics from Tel Aviv University. She is also a graduate of the International Executive MBA programme of Recanati and Kellogg business schools. In her position for almost six years, Aya oversees and leads all legal aspects of the Fox Group’s businesses and expedited growth in Israel and abroad, locally and globally, all the Group’s M&As and strategic transactions.
