Fabio Tucci has been at the centre of what has been an exciting few months for internationally renowned Italian football club Juventus. Amongst its most recent transactions, the club’s completion of the transfer of one of world football’s most sought-after and marketable players – Cristiano Ronaldo – from Real Madrid has been one of his most widely publicised tasks, taking part in negotiations and agreements needed in order to facilitate the €100m deal. Tucci joined the football club in 2013 as head of legal, having previously – between 2006 and 2012 – undertaken the position of general counsel and risk manager of the Mondo Group, an Italian company best known for manufacturing and installing track and field and other athletic surfaces. With a career background steeped within the sporting sector, Tucci also served as head of legal affairs and deputy risk manager for TOROC, the Committee for the Organisation of the 20th Winter Olympics in Turin in 2006.
