FCA Bank is a bank dedicated to motorists, operating in the automotive financing sector and was formed by the joint venture between Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Italy and Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance. Cooperating with prestigious automotive brands such as Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Jeep, Jaguar and Maserati to name a few. FCA Bank operates in 18 countries in Europe including the UK. The FCA Bank legal department has been established and structured by head of legal Roberto Petriello, who joined the bank in 2011.The team is composed of a dedicated legal team at headquarters level in Turin, and almost 20 dedicated lawyers and non-lawyers managing legal affairs in the countries where FCA Bank runs its operations. Legal is involved in all company transactions especially cross border deals, executed alongside business partners and in cooperation with FCA Bank’s compliance department in order to help them find the best solutions. Thanks in part to the legal team, 2016 proved to be a successful year for FCA Bank with the several events a testament to the team’s success. In August 2016 the bank launched Conto Deposito, its fully online deposit account and in November of the same year the bank acquired a majority stake in Ferrari Financial Services.
