Esso Italiana is the main company of ExxonMobil Group in Italy where it has been operating since 1891. It is a leader in the oil and gas industry but carries out activities in different sectors.
The legal team is led by general counsel Raimondo Rinaldi, who has been with the company for over 20 years.
In December 2019 the legal team assisted in the closing of the Augusta refinery in Sicily, a transaction that includes the three oil terminals in Palermo, Sicily and Naples, as well as interests in pipelines linking the refinery to the various terminals.
