A graduate of the Gould School of Law at the University of Southern California, Hiromi Shiraishi has held positions with established law firms in both the United States and Japan, most recently as a counsel for Nishimura & Asahi. Her in-house legal journey is one that displays versatility and a refreshing diversity in roles. It began in the International Legal Affairs Bureau of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Japan, where she was a deputy director, before moving on to a six-and-and-a-half year stint at Nokia; here, she rose to the rank of head of legal and compliance for Japan. Moving into the renewable energy sector with RENOVA after this, she began her most recent position with HP in August 2019.
