Yoshimi Tomizawa is managing counsel, Asia East of McKinsey & Company. Based in Tokyo, she manages a group of nine legal professionals based in Japan, Korea, Australia, Indonesia and Singapore, having been a member of McKinsey & Company’s legal department since May 2012. Prior to joining McKinsey & Company, Tomizawa worked as an in-house counsel and in law firms in New York, Hong Kong, Beijing and Tokyo. She is admitted to practice in New York, is fluent in English and Japanese and have knowledge of Mandarin Chinese. Tommizawa received a BA from Wellesley College and a JD from Georgetown University Law Center.
