What are the most significant cases or transactions that you have been involved in over the past year?

A few projects in particular come to mind.
Firstly, the execution of a share transfer agreement of Panasonic Automotives Systems with Apollo Global Management to create a JV. Secondly, the acquisition of One Network Enterprises by Blue Yonder to create multi-enterprise supply chain ecosystem. Thirdly, the Group-wide introduction of a new CLMS and starting a BPO trial for contract related tasks in Japan. Finally, we launched a global training workshop for those members involved in internal investigations

What innovations have you made to the way your legal team works in the past year?
Introduced the legal operations framework in evaluating and enhancing our operations globally and aligned the key initiatives based on the gaps identified.

Based on your experience, what is the key to collaborating successfully with business partners?
As stated in our Mission to commit ourselves to the sound growth and success of the business by partnering with those at the forefront of the business. The only way we can successfully collaborate is to continue abide by this commitment.

How do you motivate and manage the other members of your legal team well?
Continue to remind them of our Vision, Mission, Value and mid to long-term goals, taking every opportunity possible, and increase touchpoints and direct interaction with each team member around the globe.
