Sho Imanaka graduated from the University of Tokyo with a degree in Law in 2007 and completed the University of Tokyo School of Law in 2009. In 2011, he joined Mori Hamada & Matsumoto, where he worked on a wide range of corporate matters, primarily focusing on M&A transactions. In 2016, he earned an LL.M. from Columbia Law School and subsequently worked for Sullivan & Cromwell as a foreign associate. From 2019 to 2020, he was seconded to Marelli Corporation, where he assisted the Global General Counsel. In January 2021, he became a partner at Mori Hamada & Matsumoto. In November 2021, he was appointed General Counsel at Medley, Inc., where he currently serves as a Senior Vice President and a member of a top management team.
