Mina Hoshizawa is compliance manager in the Law, Patents & Compliance department at Bayer in Japan. Together with her team members, she provides compliance advice to the Pharmaceutical, Consumer Health and Crop Science Divisions. Before switching her role to compliance, she was legal manager for the Crop Science Division in Bayer in Japan, supporting its leader and its daily operations. Since January 2024, she has takne on an additional role as legal manager for the Consumer Health Division in Bayer in Japan, working closely with its leader as a member of the leadership team. Mina is a qualified Japanese bengoshi (attorney), and before joining Bayer, she worked at Freshfields’ Tokyo office. She is the leader of a working group of the Governance and Legal Committee of The European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA). She won the first Japan In-house Lawyers Association In-house award winner in in the Compliance category in Individual Awards 2023.
