Could you share an example of a time when you came up with an innovation that improved how your legal team works and did not come at a large expense?

Since Covid, we have been using technology to keep up operations and we have learned to work from a distance as a team, which I think is key to obtaining the results everyone is expecting from us. DocuSign, Teams, the cloud, and many more are some of the programmes we use on a daily basis. We have a weekly Teams call so we inform how the weekly, monthly and Q goals are going; that way we can help each other to achieve them.

What are some of the main trends impacting the industry sector you work in in Mexico?

Expectations about nearshoring are huge. Undoubtedly, there is a boom in the industrial market which is expected to continue in the next 10 years at least. Announcements like the TESLA plant in the state of Nuevo León are key to give confidence to foreign investors about the big advantages that Mexico brings. We expect to continue our investing plan in the industrial sector, but we also believe there will be many opportunities in most of the others real estate areas, such as residential, commercial and tourism.
