Could you share an example of a time when you came up with an innovation that improved how your legal team works and did not come at a large expense?   

Using internal resources, including my team and our internal innovation area, I successfully implemented a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool designed to manage our internal legal requests from start to finish. This tool features a standardised template that requesters complete with all the necessary details, documents and information, enabling the legal department to efficiently initiate and process documents. The CLM system supports comprehensive tracking of all the contract lifecycle, from the initial request up to its approval, execution, and digitisation. As a result, we have significantly improved our ability to handle a high volume of requests and enhanced overall workflow efficiency within the legal department.

What is a cause, business related or otherwise, that you care about, and why? 

Gender equality is a cause that drives me in my professional and personal life. Historically, women have faced significant challenges in the corporate world due to gender discrimination and systemic biases, which need to be eliminated. Women are equally as capable and prepared as men, and therefore should be in more decision-making positions; achieving a balanced gender ratio in a company enhances decision making by including a diverse range of perspectives and provides women the opportunity to be properly represented. Staffing and promotion decisions should be based solely on qualifications and merit, not on gender, but to achieve that, it is important for women to have more female role models in their workplace to whom look up to, and who serve as inspiration and example of where effort can lead to in an environment of gender equality.
