What are the most significant cases or transactions that your legal team has recently been involved in?

Our legal team has been at the forefront of pioneering initiatives that align with the rapidly involving landscape of sustainability and innovation in the fleet management sector.

The implementation of legal frameworks in the Arc Project for Electric Vehicle Fleet Services in Element has been very interesting because with want to achieve our ESG objectives and help our clients with the replacement of their fleets with electric cars. The lifecycle of this type of car represents different needs to which society is not used, so, our participation is crucial to celebrate and operate these kinds of transactions with suppliers and clients from the hand of the commercial team.

Also, the last Qs we have been participating in lease transactions related with Nearshoring clients, this helps the economy and collaborate with the growth of the companies and push them to offer more employment opportunities.

Finally, with the continuous development of the signature platforms, last year we were able to sign more than 14,000 documents electronically generating all kinds of savings.

Could you share an example of a time when you came up with an innovation that improved how your legal team works and did not come at a large expense?

The implementation of bots and different flows related with our legal function has helped to reduce the manual tasks, ensuring due compliance with our policies and strengthening and protecting the company´s interests. This is not over, as a legal team we push to create and innovate a technology culture to continue with the analysis of different tools that could help and support us to improve the client´s lifecycle with the connection through APIS to different platforms inside the company.

What is a cause, business related or otherwise, that you care about, and why?

As a legal counsel deeply engaged in working on the complexities of the digital era, one cause is sustainability, particularly in reducing paper and promoting ESG initiatives. Sustainability is about forging a path towards a more conscious future. With this I aim to contribute to a greener world.
